Sequence & Pack Works

Knowledge and project references

Read practical guides to product records, specifications and project documentation.

01

A readable peptide specification starts with the sequence

A peptide specification brings together the molecular target and the material required for a project. The sequence is its natural starting point, but a sequence string is not always the entire description. A readable record makes the assumptions around that string visible so that research and purchasing colleagues can refer to the same target.

02

A Readable Vial Label Starts with the Actual Size

A vial label has a small area to do several jobs. It identifies the product, carries useful reference information and presents the brand. A design that looks clear on a large screen may become crowded when printed at its actual size. Starting with the physical label area helps the artwork serve the package rather than forcing the package to fit an attractive mockup.

03

Keeping Material Specifications and Packaging Records Connected

A combined project can contain a custom material, printed labels and several packaging components. These items share a commercial conversation, but they do not share one interchangeable specification. Keeping their records separate and connected makes the project easier to review.
